Donald Files

"Cloud 9 Orchestra" "Donald Files" Baritone Saxophone "Let Freedom Swing" "big band orchestra" Donald first started playing baritone saxophone in the sixth grade. He was looking for something a little different from the rest of the students, and he says that he fell in love with the bari at first sight (literally!). While bari is his main instrument, he am fully capable on a full range of saxes, including the soprano.  He joined the Cloud 9 Orchestra for their patriotic service at Northside Baptist Church in July 2011.  He has been with the band ever since, playing the “Jingle Bell Swing” and “Relay for Life” benefits, as well as, “Valentines on Cloud 9 (pictured above).  Also, Donald currently plays with the Baptist College of Florida Jazz Band where he enjoys the benefits of music and ministry.  Donald is, no doubt, a welcome addition to the band on bari sax.
